Sportswire Clip Of The Day - 5/30/12

Before going on air, Matt and Joe were discussing the rundown for today's show.  Matt wanted to discuss the surging New York Mets while Szadok desired to speak about the dominant play of the San Antonio Spurs.  In order to find middle ground, Matt switched up the rundown and decided the opening segment would be an argument about what should be the opening segment.  Compelling cases for each side!

Sportswire Clip Of The Day - 5/25/12

The boys on the Sportswire spent a ton of time previewing tonight's Rangers/Devils Game 6.  They were joined by Hockey This Week's Mike Carver who was extremely adament about wanting to put any comparisons between 2012 and 1994 to bed. Enjoy the clip and enjoy the game!!!

Sportswire Clip Of The Day - 5/24/12

For the first time since this wonderful installment, we bring you two clips of the day.  For the first one, Matt Soldano and David Otero welcomed back former co-host, Jason "Smart Guy" Comack for a segment.  Matt told the guys about a payment rapper Rick Ross owes a Miami Heat fan who streaked across the court promoting, Ross' album and record label. The gang talked about how much they would have to be paid to go streaking at a sporting event.

In the second clip, Seth Rosenthal from Posting And Toasting joined the show in his weekly segment. In this edition of "Seth Asks A Question", the best Knicks blogger of all time wanted to know about everyone's....sneezing habits (?)

Sportswire Clip Of The Day - 5/23/12

It was a reunion on the Sportswire as Max Caster filled in for Joe Szadok who is currently enjoying his time on a cruise.  Of course, Max and Matt would take full advantage of the opportunity to take digs at Szadok so the two of them wondered what life was like for Joe this week and the people, specifically, the women he met on the ship. Check it!

Sportswire Clip of the Day- 5/22/12

Today, Matt, Bryan and David debated the importance of Derek Fisher to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Matt strongly disagreed with the feelings of Bryan and David, and went as far as to say that Fisher was the least athletic point guard in all of basketball. Also, Matt reveals his thoughts on if the Los Angeles Lakers can get Kobe his sixth ring...

Sportswire Clip Of The Day - 5/21/12

Over the weekend, our very own Bryan Gallucci wrapped up his last shift at WABC.  To thank him for his tireless hours of labor, the folks at the station put BG on the air.  At one point during his five minutes of fame, things turned ugly as one of the guests made a very condescending remark towards Bryan.  Today on the show, Matt demanded answers...

Sportswire Clip Of The Day - 5/18/12

To end the week, Patrick Creighton and Christian Arnold discussed Colin Cowherd's remarks regarding NHL writers and how they are "nobodies" in the business. Safe to say, the two were very unpleased with Cowherd's comments.  Take a listen:

Sportswire Clip Of The Day - 5/17/12

For today, Matt sulked about the Lakers collapse from last night.  To open up the show, he showed his wide range of emotions from Wednesday night by reading off some tweets from his timeline from the game.  Caution: very depressing...

Sportswire Clip of The Day - 5/16/12

For our most recent Sportswire Clip of The Day, Joe decides to open up the show telling everyone about his weekend in Atlantic City and his run in with the Philadelphia Flyers. What was most disturbing out of the whole diatribe was us finding out that Joe would walk away if his friend had gotten into a scuffle with the hockey players. Mr. Szadok also throws his good friend under the bus.  I hope you hear this, Greg. Some former Marine...

Sportswire Clip of The Day - 5/14/12

This is a new feature we are bringing to the blog to help promote the Sportswire. Every day we will be posting a clip of the day that was the high point of our hour long pow-wow.

On Monday's show, Matt Soldano, Bryan Gallucci, and David Otero were discussing the New York Yankees and specifically the struggles of first basemen Mark Teixeira. Things started out pretty calm and then all hell broke out in Studio 1. Take a listen.
