What's up, Ryan?

From Newsday:

Ryan Church returned to the Mets Saturday and walked around the clubhouse exchanging fist bumps with everyone in the room.

After spending the past two weeks on the disabled list with a strained right hamstring, Church was raring to go, but he'll have to wait until Sunday to be in the lineup.

It's great to see Church back, not just for him, but for the team. They need all the bats they can get right now. The thing about Church, though, is that he hasn't done well coming off of injuries. Remember last season, he was out for two months with concussions after tearing it up at the plate. When he came back, he wasn't the same. Albeit, the injuries from last season and this one are extremely dissimilar, but it's something to look out for.

With the uncertainty surrounding Church and the Mets' offense, I'd still go ahead and try to package a deal for Oakland's Matt Holliday.

Yep! They love Omir.
