From the Bergen Record:Terrence Williams was looking forward to his workout with the Nets, and not just because it was his last before Thursday’s NBA draft.
Williams knows the Nets are high on him with the No. 11 pick. So on Friday, the versatile Louisville swingman wanted to show the Nets the feeling is mutual.
"Even if there was a water break, I was going to sprint and run to get some water because I want to show them how hard I can go," Williams said. "I want to be here. I want to be a New Jersey Net, and if that’s what I need to do — go harder — I’ll go hard as long as it needs be to be here and end my career here."
I'm liking T-Will more and more for New Jersey. If he can step in at the small forward spot, he'll be a dangerous weapon for that team. His stat line from his final year at Louisville is great. Over 12 points, 8.6 rebounds, 5 assists and 2.3 steals a game is what he put up. The steals impress me the most. The Nets need someone to run that fast break.
However, if the Nets take Williams, they're still left with somewhat of a hole at power forward. Ryan Anderson is better off the bench and Yi Jianlian cant do much in the paint. I think Sean Williams can do it but he's never on the court. Even when he is on the court, he's not on the court. You follow?
