From People:Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez were spotted getting cozy last month at a restaurant in New York City, and now a source confirms they are dating.
"It's somewhat serious," the source tells PEOPLE in its upcoming issue. "He introduced her to a bunch of his friends."
For her part, Hudson followed Rodriguez on the road late last month to Dallas, when the Yankees played the Texas Rangers in a three-game series. The actress and son Ryder, 5 (dad is Chris Robinson), stayed at the same hotel as Rodriguez, and the couple "worked out together in the fitness center," says an eyewitness.
I'm proud of Alex. He's taken a step up from an old, yet somehow still attractive Madonna. Kate Hudson may not be the best looking woman in Hollywood, but she is certainly fine. Although, she could make you utter the phrase "No, thanks. I already had pancakes today." At least it's better than hooking up with a no-name in Canada.When you compare Kate Hudson and Madonna, the first thing you notice is that Hudson doesn't look like she can bench 225.
