Knicks Narrow Draft Board To Three Point Guards

Marc Berman of the NY Post reports:

"Selecting No. 8 in Thursday's draft, the Knicks have narrowed their point-guard search to three guys.  Stephen Curry, Memphis' Tyreke Evans, and Jrue Holiday, in that order.  There is a strong chance Curry and Evans will not be around at 8, and the Knicks have considered moving up."

It is interesting to read that Berman does not list Johnny Flynn, Brandon Jennings, or Ty Lawson.  Maybe the Knicks feel that Flynn will be taken as he has gotten high praise from the Kings and perhaps Jennings and Lawson might be a reach.  In my mock draft, I have Curry going 5 to the Wizards, Holiday going 6th to the Wolves, and Evans going 7th to the Warriors, and Flynn going to the Knicks.

It is a long-shot at this point that Curry is going to be available at number 8.  I just do not see a scenario in which he gets past the Warriors at 7.  However, I believe Holiday has the best shot of being on the board when the Knicks are on the clock because of some poor draft workouts.
