From the Newark Star-Ledger:
Outfielder Xavier Nady, who suffered a setback while rehabbing in Tampa Monday, "felt much better" Tuesday, Girardi said. He only had pain in his injured right elbow during two throws, Girardi said, and will take Wednesday off before throwing again Thursday.
Other Tampa updates: Catcher Jose Molina, who was pulled from an extended spring training game Monday with pain in his injured left quad, had an MRI Tuesday. The results were sent up to team doctors, who will make a decision tonight if he'll stay in Florida or continue rehabbing back in New York. Reliever Damaso Marte will throw a bullpen session Friday, and third baseman Cody Ransom will go to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Thursday.
16 wins in the last 20. 18 straight error-free games. Jeter's 16-game hitting streak. Teixeira is second in the AL in homeruns.
Do you even bring these guys back? The Yankees have been groin-grabbingly good without them. Tonight's game may be an indication that Posada shouldn't have been brought back. An awful base-running mistake and a throwing error, ending the Yankees streak. He can't throw anybody out.
