CC Sabathia said he is good to go on Friday and felt no soreness in his left biceps during a 27-pitch bullpen session this afternoon.
Sabathia said he threw all of his pitches during the session and was "cutting loose" at the end.
Sabathia said he wasn't nervous about the injury that shut him down in the second inning on Sunday. But the team's concern and cautiousness in dealing with the injury did make him uncomfortable.
"Everybody else made me nervous," he joked.
I'm excited to see him bat. Hopefully he doesn't have to go deep into the game, but knowing the bullpen, he might as well.
