Chillin' from Gilmanton Iron Works, New Hampshire does not stop me from reporting on some serious basketball news.
According to Real GM:
In an attempt to not screw up their 2010 plans, the Knicks will have to seriously consider what they want to do with power forward David Lee. Right now, it seems that Donnie Walsh and the rest of the Knicks brass have made up their mind.
"A source told Ken Berger that he believes David Lee's days as a Knick are over. Agent Mark Bartelstein will reportedly have Lee sign an offer sheet with the Grizzlies or the Thunder that the Knicks will not be willing to match."
The Grizzlies and Thunder are two teams that make sense for Lee to go sign with. Both teams are desperate for some size and front-court depth. While both teams drafted big's in the first round, (Grizz-Hasheem Thabeet, OKC - B.J. Mullens), Lee will provide instant offense to any team's front line.
Also put Lee with the Thunder who already sport Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Jeff Green, count em for serious contenders in the Western Conference.
