Meanwhile, right-handed set-up man Brian Bruney (right elbow) will pitch for Double-A Trenton in a minor league rehab appearance on Saturday. The Yankees had considered activating Bruney and placing him immediately into the Yankees bullpen, which has been taxed the last several days
So it'll be a few more days until Bruney is back in the pen and the pitching staff will be at full strength. As I said last night, while the bullpen is short, David Robertson has to be used more. His K's per 9 is astounding.
