Broncos will Likely Keep Marshall

From PFT:

Bill Williamson of ESPN.com reports that the Broncos are planning to continue their stance of retaining Marshall. They expect him to show up to training camp and reportedly aren’t that worried about the situation.

This news goes along with Mr. Florio’s report two weeks ago that the Broncos didn’t plan to deal Marshall.

Sure, the Broncos will listen if a team comes calling offering a first-round pick and change. But the odds on that happening seem about as likely as Marshall winning the NFL’s Man of the Year award.

Well, the Jets have a 1st round pick, some talent that could be offered and a gaping hole at wide receiver. Getting Brandon Marshall would solidify New York's offense, no matter who starts at quarterback. This is one of the best receivers in the world up for grabs. Go get him!

Our readers tend to agree. In our latest poll, we asked "Should the Jets make a run at Brandon Marshall?"

78% said 'Yes'. 22% said 'No'.

It's a no-brainer. He's young, talented, dominating and extremely big. This move would not only give the Jets' quarterback a great advantage, it would make the Jets a serious contender for a deep playoff, possibly Super Bowl, run.

The Rex Ryan era has begun with a bang. The defensive additions are key. Trading up for Mark Sanchez and Shonn Greene will likely pay off. But getting Brandon Marshall would turn that bang into a mushroom cloud.
