According to Alan Hahn's blog in Newsday, the Knicks are interested in North Carolina point guard Ty Lawson. Jon Rothstein, of ESPN radio, and Off the Glass favorite, spoke to Carolina head coach Roy Williams about the possibility of Lawson ending up in NYC.Here's what Williams had to say:
"If you want to run, there is no one better. In a half-court system, Ty wouldn't be as effectivebut if you want to run the way the Knicks want to, there is no better fit than Ty. He's going to get people easy baskets and he's going to push like no one else can."
In my first mock draft, I had Lawson slated at #8 going to the Knicks. I think he is the best fit outside of Ricky Rubio for the team. More so than Curry or Flynn.
So a lot of rumors about the Knicks draft decisions are picking up and we still have no idea where they will be picking!
I meant to post this, in one of my earlier blogs but the links were not working. Here's Stephen Curry remaking Asher Roth's "I Love College" with some of his Davidson friends. Glad to see this kid is living the college life.
Steph, you got to work on that flow...
