Trainer Sold Steroids to Nationals, Capitals

From the NY Daily News:

Police in Lakeland, Florida, are holding former bodybuilder and personal trainer Richard Thomas in custody after Thomas allegedly admitted to importing and selling a large amount of anabolic steroids, including to players on the Washington Nationals and the Washington Capitals.

I heard about this yesterday and I haven't heard much else. The story is regarding the hot button, headline dominating topic of steroids in sports. But there hasn't been a lot of coverage on it. The story seems like a big deal. Steroids were allegedly sold to one of Hockey's best teams.

Now don't me wrong. The non-coverage of a steroid story is a breath of fresh air. But it's a big surprise that there isn't much speculation when there are a couple of big dogs to go after on both the Capitals and Nationals.
