In recent weeks, Yankees set-up man Brian Bruney and outfielder Brett Gardner have taken to battling each other in the Tiger Woods PGA Tour video game. The winner gets to keep in his locker for the day a small figurine of the greatest golfer in the world.
On Tuesday, Bruney, who is in possession of the trophy, added another twist. Sitting at a clubhouse table, Bruney used glossy red model paint to give the mini version of Tiger Woods his trademark Sunday Red golf shirt.
And for days when Gardner wins, Woods' shirt will be painted green, appropriate for the guy who has four green jackets hanging his closet.
So the truth comes out. Brian Bruney's elbow is hurt because he stays up all night painting a freaking Tiger Woods action figure!
You're a major league pitcher, Bruney. I know you guys need downtime, but could you find a better hobbie than painting action figures? I can't hate on the video games, because I play Tiger Woods on PS2. But the strange combination of a grown man painting toys and playing games reminds me of something...

Yeah.... I went there.
