This is a clip from last night's Game 1 between the Lakers and Rockets. Kobe Bryant appears to hit Shane Battier and continue to aggrivate him physically while both players are on the floor.
Tell me, does this warrant a suspension or fine? Or should nothing be done?

By a neutral party, it could be seen either way. But if you ask David Stern, the man who has the final say in these matters, you would hear that Bryant would not be castigated. Kobe is a superstar. A big-money draw. There is no way Stern would suspend him in the playoffs unless Bryant put on brass knuckles and socked Aaron Brooks in the face.
So leave a comment. What kind of punishment does Kobe deserve, if any?

you should be hit with brass knuckles for even posting this max...
ReplyDeletebut on a serious note...Dwight Howard got suspended, same thing with Amare...Stern is not afraid to suspend anyone. He wants to set a precedence.
