Moss Could get Chance to Start

The NY Daily News' Ralph Vacchiano has this:

Kevin Gilbride, the Giants’ offensive coordinator, doesn’t underestimate the loss of Plaxico Burress, but he’s convinced the Giants still have enough weapons to succeed with out him.

One of those weapons, Gilbride said today, is Sinorice Moss.

“This will be his big chance,” Gilbride said. “He’ll start off in the three wides. He will be the starter. We just hope - - and I know he’ll hope for sure - - that he flourishes and does well.”

This is not a bad thing. Either he performs out of his mind, or he falls to the back of the pack. The latter has happened a few times before, why can't it happen again.

It does not matter if Moss plays poorly, as long as Hakeem Nicks, Domenik Hixon, and Ramses Barden play up to their full potential.

It's great that Moss is getting an opportunity. But I don't think he'll capitalize.
