
The Los Angeles Times was the first to report that Manny Ramirez has been suspended by Major League Baseball for 50 games for testing positive for performance enhancing drugs.
The test result is expected to be released later today.
Manny is saying that he went to a doctor to get something checked out and the medication he received is what triggered the positive test.
So where do the Dodgers go from here? At 21-8 and 13-0 at home, the Dodgers have been the league's best team. Before the Manny-era, the Dodgers had an offense that was basically non-existent. However, Joe Torre is at the helm, and if there is any manager who can handle this kind of thing he is the guy.
