Yankees Pitcher Joba Chamberlain has left tonight's showdown with the Baltimore Orioles with a leg injury. While facing Baltimore's Adam Jones in the 1st inning, Chamberlain took a liner off his right knee. He picked up the ball and recorded the out to first base. After that, Chamberlain let up singles to Nick Markakis and Aubrey Huff. He was then taken out of the game and replaced by Alfredo Aceves.
UPDATE: X-Rays on Chamberlain's knee are negative. He has been diagnosed with a bruised knee. No word yet as to how much time, if any, Chamberlain will miss.
