So I am currently in Binghamton for my brother's graduation braving a near-tsunami. I decided to check the internet to see what I had missed over the past 24 hours and this is what caught my eye.Bascially, James Harrison is a complete idiot.
According to Pro Football Talk, the defensive player of the year who scored a 99 yard interception return for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Super Bowl is refusing to visit President Obama when the team goes to visit.
And it is not even a protest against Obama or a symbol that he might have wanted McCain to win. However, here is his explanation...
"This is how I feel-if you want to see the Pittsburgh Steelers, invite us when we don't win the Super Bowl. As far as I'm concerned, [Obama] would've invited Arizona if they had won."
Umm, James what are you smoking? Are you not aware that the team who wins the championship always goes to the White House? Are you that self-served that you think everyone should take out time to see your team?
Roger Goodell, you might want to test Harrison, I think he is high on some Mary J.

ReplyDeleteno but at least I can understand the idea that you dont like a president's policies so you dont want to meet him. But to not go because you think if you lost you would have never been invited is just plain dumb
