Let's take a look at some excerpts from my blog last night when I addressed the Yao Ming situation:
"This changes everything in the series."
"I expect specifically Pau Gasol to benefit the most from the absence of Yao"
"Lakers in five."
I sit here writing this blog with the current score of Game 4, 85-65, in favor of the Rockets, with 8 minutes left to go in regulation. The Rockets came out on such an emotional high in front of their home crowd. They embraced the underdog role and wanted to prove their worth without Yao. No Lakers showed up besides Kobe Bryant who had a solid first half scoring 13 points.
Figuring this series will be tied at 2-2 its anyone's series now. Lakers have two games at home remaining (5 and 7) while Game 6 will be played in Houston.
I am officially retiring from making predictions on the blog concerning the Lakers playoffs.
Just pathetic...
