Well I am interested to hear what Max Caster has to say about this...Earlier today at the NBA Draft Combine, North Carolina's Tyler Hansbrough had this to say concerning the Knicks' David Lee...
"That's who I compare myself to, a rebounder, an energy player, a Missouri guy."
Tyler I am not sure David Lee is the right guy to compare yourself to. While I am one of the few people who believe you will have a long career in the NBA, David Lee is a perennial All-Star who led the league in double-doubles. Yes both guys have work ethics that can be set as examples to the rest of the team, but after that, I do not see much. Lee has more of an offensive game and a better rebounder. Hansbrough will set a tone coming off the bench playing 15 minutes a game but nonetheless play productively. Hansbrough later went on to say...
"I'll go higher than (30). David's proven he's a lot better than a 30th pick. He was a beast in high school."
I have Hansbrough going #27 in my Mock Draft 2.0 to the Memphis Grizzlies. Who knows though, maybe I'm wrong and Tyler will earn his merits to pose next to hot woman in deodorant ads.
