New Yankee Stadium Already Cursed

Forget the curse of 'The Bambino'. Forget the lingering thoughts of the 2004 ALCS. This is far worse.

Former New York Knicks president, GM and sexual deviant Isiah Thomas will be a part of the new Yankee stadium. How? His popcorn 'Dale & Thomas' will be sold by vendors at 'The House that George built.'

Way to bring a winning attitude into your new, state of the art ballpark.

However, apparently his popcorn is incredibly good. If I come across some -- and I guarantee this won't be via an expensive ticket in the new stadium -- I will try it. I've heard nothing but positive about his popcorn. Ironically, I've heard nothing but negative about Thomas' ability to run a franchise.

I'm sure us Yankee fans will have a riot with this one...

--I like how the Knicks can't beat Sacramento, New Jersey or the LA Clippers, but they can pull out a 10-point victory over the Hornets. It all comes down to the guys hitting their shots, and everyone was on fire tonight.

And Eddy Curry was supposed to come back. If everyone was draining threes, why not give Eddy a crack at it?

-And I'd like to give a shout-out to our own Mike Tramantozzi who's had a tough week. First, the CW Post Pioneers basketball team falls to Findlay in the Elite 8 of the Div. II Tourney. He had to call that contest in, apparently, dangerous Springfield, Mass. while he was ill. And now his Syracuse Orange get walloped by Oklahoma in the Sweet 16.

It's okay, Mike. There's always baseball season. Yankees look good. So does Zillo...

...HERE COMES THE PAIN!!!
