Best Commercial Ever!

I was watching Sportscenter when I found this gem featuring New York Knicks Great Patrick Ewing:

This had me and my brother rolling for a while.

Special effects did a nice job pasting on his '94 flat top.

--Roderick Boone wrote in Newsday, on Wednesday, that Knicks Coach Mike D'Antoni is looking to shorten his rotation. Boone stated that Quentin Richardson would be the odd man out; with his minutes already disappearing, mainly due to his lack of speed & athleticism and suddenly poor shot. However, Q-Rich could have just thrust himself out of the doghouse with his late-game heroics against Detroit tonight. He went 1-of-3 from three-point range, but his one make was huge, and could improve his standing with D'Antoni. If that happens, Danilo Gallinari would most likely see the brunt of the shortened rotation. Fortunately, I think Richardson will continue to slug up and down the court and shoot himself right back into a bench spot.

--By the way, the Golden State Warriors put Point Guard Marcus Williams on waivers and the team they beat on Wednesday night could really use him. The New Jersey Nets lost to Golden State 116-112 in Oakland, CA; mainly due to an abundance of inconsistent scorers. Marcus Williams definately has some skill and can add depth and production to a short guard rotation. Backing up Devin Harris is Keyon Dooling, who is doing a bang up job. But after Dooling come Chris Douglas-Roberts and Maurice Ager. Between the two, they average about 11 minutes per game. Williams could also take minutes away from Bobby Simmons. I know Williams isn't great but he can help.

Boy, the Nets are just one big time player away from being a contender, given that Vince Carter sticks around. The trifecta of Carter, Devin Harris and Brook Lopez is daunting, but lacks total dominance. I'm intrigued by this team going forward. They show more immediate promise than the Knicks.

Now go back to reading about the Big East Tourney.
